<h2>About the Role</h2> Chime is looking for an Investor Relations Associate to join our IR team at a pivotal moment in the company's public market journey. This role sits at the intersection of finance, communications, and strategy — supporting the full spectrum of IR activities that help investors and analysts understand Chime's business, growth trajectory, and competitive position. You'll work closely with the Head and Director of IR and gain exposure to senior leadership, the sell-side analyst community, and institutional investors. This is a high-visibility, high-learning role for someone early in their career who wants to build a foundation in investor relations, capital markets and corporate finance. The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $90,000 and up to $125,000. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience. <h2>In this role, you can expect to</h2> Investor Communications &amp; Reporting <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Help prepare quarterly earnings materials including press releases, investor presentations, Q&amp;A prep documents, and scripts</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Maintain and update investor-facing content on the IR website</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Track and organize analyst research, consensus estimates, and investor feedback following roadshows and conferences</li> </ul> Market Intelligence <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Monitor sell-side coverage, produce daily news summaries, and flag relevant fintech, neobank, and broader consumer finance developments</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Track peer company earnings calendars, disclosures, and analyst commentary; synthesize competitive positioning implications</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Maintain a peer group benchmarking model (valuation multiples, key operating metrics)</li> </ul> Investor Engagement Support <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Coordinate logistics for investor conferences, non-deal roadshows, and analyst days — including scheduling, travel, briefing documents, and follow-ups</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Manage the IR inbox and help field inbound inquiries from investors and analysts</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Maintain the investor CRM database, tracking engagement history and ownership changes</li> </ul> Financial Analysis <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Support updates to internal financial models and bridge analyses ahead of earnings</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Assist in preparing board and executive materials related to shareholder base, ownership trends, and consensus vs. guidance dynamics</li> </ul> <h2>To thrive in this role, you have</h2> Experience &amp; Background <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">2–3 years of professional experience in investor relations, equity research, investment banking, consulting, corporate finance, or a related field</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related discipline; strong academic record</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Exposure to public company financial statements and SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) is a plus</li> </ul> Skills <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Strong financial acumen — comfortable reading an income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement, and understanding how they connect</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to synthesize complex information into clear, concise narratives</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams under deadline pressure</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; Google Office Suite, familiarity with Factset or Bloomberg terminal preferred</li> </ul> Attributes <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Genuine curiosity about fintech, capital markets, and how institutional investors think</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Low ego, high initiative — comfortable rolling up your sleeves and owning administrative details as readily as analytical work</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Discretion and sound judgment when handling material non-public information (MNPI) and investor relationships</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Team-first mindset with a desire to grow within the IR function over time</li> </ul> #LI-BE1 #LI-Onsite<div class="content-conclusion"><h2>A little about us</h2> At Chime, we believe that everyone can achieve financial progress.
